Queen of Scotland. Name variations: Aelflaed of Northumbria; Sybil. Flourished around 1030; daughter of Ealred, earl of Northumberland, and Efflaed of Bernicia (daughter of Ealdred of Bernicia, lord of Bamburgh); cousin of Siward, earl of Northumberland; married Duncan I (c. 1001–1040), king of Scots (r. 1034–1040), around 1030; children: Malcolm III Can-more (1031–1093), king of Scots (r. 1057–1093); Donalbane or Donald III (c. 1033–1099), king of Scots (r. 1093–1098); Maelmuir Dunkeld (b. around 1035).
