Mr. Bean's Holiday
Mr. Bean's Holiday ★★ 2007 (PG)
Love him or hate him, Mr. Bean (Atkinson) has returned for yet another round of lowbrow slapstick. On his way to France for vacation, Mr. Bean manages to lose his wallet and gain a lost child (Baldry), and spends much of the rest of the movie in awkward situations trying to reunite the boy and his father. Plenty of Atkinson's physical gags and base jokes, but there's not much here for non-Bean fans. Title is an homage to Jacques Tati's 1953 comedy “M Hulot's Holiday.” 90m/C DVD, HD DVD . GB US Rowan Atkinson, Emma de Caunes, Willem Dafoe, Jean Rochefort, Max Baldry, Karel Roden, Steve Pemberton; D: Steve Bendelack; W: Robin Driscoll, Hamish McColl; C: Baz Irvine; M: Howard Goodall.
