FCBA Foundation Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance for local high school students intending to pursue college studies. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be high school students attending in any of the 8 high schools located in the District of Columbia. Criteria: Scholarship is given based on academic achievement and honors, communication/presentation skills, financial need, motivation, attendance record, service to school, service to community and interest in communications or information technology (not required but will be considered if applicable).

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must complete the application. Please make sure that you have completed and attached all information required by the application. If an applicant does not have certain information specified, that applicant should so note, and provide a brief explanation. Please note that applicants are required to certify that he or she is a legal resident of the United States or must explain, in detail, their residency status in order to be considered for an FCBA Foundation scholarship. Applicants must attach copies of any essays, awards, letters of recommendation or appreciation (in addition to the recommendations specified in the application), or any other documentation or representation of excellence
