Carol C. Fitzgerald Scholarship Program (Professional Development/Scholarship)

Purpose: To assist deserving, qualified individuals to continue their education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a member in good standing of FCCA for a minimum of two consecutive years and must be a deputy clerk, employed by the U.S. Courts. Criteria: Committee will review all applications and award scholarships to deserving individuals who meet the qualifications, within the financial limitations of the program. Committee may consider the years of membership, economic need, FCCA contributions, and the applicant's interest in continuing education.

Funds Avail.: Amount awarded per individual scholarship may vary, as determined by the committee. To Apply: applicant must submit a complete application forms to: U.S District Court, Northern District of California, 450 Golden Gate Ave., San Francisco, CA 94102-3489. Deadline: April 15.
