Spanish poet. Born in 1959 in La Coruña, Spain; educated at Madrid University.
Made literary debut with De una niña de provincias (From a Provincial Girl, 1980), which won the Premio Adonais in Spain; followed that success with Báculo de Babel (Babel's Wand, 1982), and Elphistone (1988), also critically acclaimed.
