French contralto. Name variations: Louise Héritte-Viardot or Louise Heritte-Viardot. Born Louise-Pauline-Marie on Dec 14, 1841; died 1918; dau. of Pauline Viardot (1821–1910) and Louis Viardot; married a diplomat.
Was a professor at the St. Petersburg School of Music and later at Frankfurt, Berlin, and Heidelburg.
