Sequel finds teen football players and cheerleaders stranded on a bus somewhere in the sticks, looking like the next batch of victims of the titular Creeper, who apparently didn't get dead enough in the original. While the stereotypical, cardboard cast chews on the uninspired dialogue within the doomed bus, grizzled local farmer Jack Taggart (Wise) prepares to do battle with the thing that ate his son some 23 years ago. Although pic furnishes this beast with more special effects, including wings, it loses some of the low tech charm of the original in the process. Apparently the extra money spent on amping up the monster came out of the wardrobe budget, as a host of well-developed football players frequently, and inexplicably, walk around shirtless. 103m/C VHS, DVD .
