Bengtsson, Gustai Adolf Tiburt(ius)
Bengtsson, Gustai Adolf Tiburt(ius), Swedish conductor and composer; b. Vadstena, March 29, 1886; d. there, Oct. 5, 1965. He studied at the Stockholm Cons., then in Berlin with Juon and in Leipzig with Riemann. Subsequently he was active in Karlstad as a composer and teacher, and later as a conductor in Linkôping (1943–49).
