Berardi, Angelo
Berardi, Angelo, Italian organist, theorist, and composer; b. S. Agata, Feltria, c. 1630; d. Rome, April 9, 1694. He was a student of Mario Scacchi. He served as maestro di cappella and organist at Tivoli (1673–79), and then was at the Spoleto Cathedral (1681) and at the college of S. Angelo in Viterbo (1687). In 1693 he was a canon and maestro di cappella at S. Maria in Trastevere, Rome.
