SIDELIGHTS:
Charles Berberian, along with collaborator Philippe Dupuy, is the author and illustrator of the "Monsieur Jean" comic book series. These comics offer a humorous look at the title character, a middle-class Parisian. Popular in France since the 1980s, the comics were not widely available in collected format until 2006, when Get a Life and Maybe Later were released by publisher Drawn & Quarterly.
For more sidelights on Berberian, see the CA entry on Philippe Dupuy.
