Berchta
Berchta a mother goddess of German mythology, typically dressed in white (her name means ‘bright’) and triple-headed; she was traditionally patron of spinners, because at the end of the year she was said to finish off unfinished work; however on Twelfth Night she might also spoil and tangle flax as a punishment.
