Feldman, Ludovic
Feldman, Ludovic, Romanian composer and violinist; b. Gala-i, June 6, 1893; d. Bucharest, Sept. 11, 1987. He studied violin in Galat-i, with Klenck at the Bucharest Cons. (1910–11), and with Ondficek at the New Vienna Cons. (1911–13). He was a violinist in the Phil, and in the orch. of the State Opera in Bucharest (1926–40). Following training in composition with Jora in Bucharest (1941–42), he devoted himself fully to composing.
