Kletzki,Paul [ Pawel Klecki] (b Lódź, 1900; d Liverpool, 1973). Polish-born (later Swiss) conductor and violinist. Violinist, Lódź PO 1914–19. Studied and cond. in Berlin 1921–33. Taught comp., Milan, 1933–8. Settled in Switz., 1939. Guest cond. of leading Eng. orchs. after 1947 (début with Philharmonia). Salzburg Fest. 1962.
