Manojlović, Kosta
Manojlović, Kosta, Serbian composer; b. Krnjevo, Dec. 3, 1890; d. Belgrade, Oct. 2, 1949. He studied in Munich and at the Univ. of Oxford (B.A., 1919). He wrote a Serbian liturgy, and a cantata, By the Waters of Babylon, as well as characteristic piano pieces and songs. He publ, several studies on Serbian folk music. His collection of 337 songs of east Serbia was publ, posthumously (Belgrade, 1953).
