Novák, Milan, Slovak composer; b. Trahovice, Aug. 12, 1927. He studied piano with Kafenda, composition with Alexander Moyzes, and conducting with Talich at the Bratislava Cons. In 1955 he was appointed conductor of the Military Artistic Ensemble in Bratislava.
