Platti, Giovanni Benedetto

Platti, Giovanni Benedetto , Italian composer; b. Padua, July 9, 1697; d. Würzburg, Jan. 11, 1763. In 1722 he went to Würzburg, where he was active as an instrumentalist, tenor, singing teacher, and composer at the court of the bishops until at least 1761.
