SIDELIGHTS: Kelly D. Alexander, Jr. told CA: "I enjoy research. I have a large library of religious reference books from which to glean my materials. Early Mississippi history of the area in which I live also interests me. There is supposed to be a hidden treasure of gold somewhere along the banks of Deer Creek running through my town. Many interesting stories of the early years of the struggle in the Mississippi Delta are highlighted in some of my unpublished stories.
"My first book, The Deep Things of God, was a collaborative effort with my aunt, Eula T. Wylie. She was a member of the Golden Circle organized by Albert Einstein, made up of mathematicians solving the theory of relativity with a different approach to reaching the conclusion correctly—in a different way from Einstein. This book contains collections of space studies, sermons, essays, et cetera, very different from what anyone has ever studied; examples of the topics are 'The Ninth of Ab,' 'The Days of Anne,' 'Supernatural Darkness,' 'The Seven Candlesticks,' and 'Two Scenes in the Third Heaven.'
"My latest book, The Ark of the Covenant, contains what I feel is probably as complete a coverage of the ark as one will be able to find. Probable locations of the missing ark are discussed, covering most popular possibilities of its location, [although] I did not include material on any sites that did not have biblical support. The book also cites audio and video discussion materials on several sites claiming to have discovered the ark."
