High school principal in Des Moines, IA, 1905-08; William and Vashti College, Aledo, IL, teacher, 1908-12; Macalester College, St. Paul, MN, teacher, 1912-44. Camp Far Out (prayer movement), founder, 1930; Macalester Park Publishing Co., founder.
