CAREER:

Concert flutist, performing in more than 2,000 concerts in the United States and abroad, 1957—. Vassar College, lecturer, 1969-71 and 1977—; visiting professor at Indiana University—Bloomington, 1973, and Oberlin College, 1976. Past member of New York Chamber Soloists, Dorian Wind Quartet, and Aston Magna Ensemble; principal flutist with New York orchestras, including Symphony of the Air, American Symphony Orchestra, American Opera Society, Orchestra of America, Musica Aeterna Orchestra, and Municipal Concerts Orchestra; performer for classical and jazz sound recordings released by numerous labels, including EMI, RCA-Red Seal, Vanguard, Decca, Columbia, and Smithsonian Collection.
