SIDELIGHTS:
Nancy Warren is a prolific romance writer whose novels for Harlequin and Kensington Publishers have won numerous awards and appeared on both the USA Today and the Waldenbooks bestseller lists. Unlike many authors, Warren did not always want to be a writer. On her home page she explains: "I always wanted to be a reader. I've spent more of my life than is good for me curled up with a book. The truth is that with a cup of tea, a good book and a box of Swiss chocolates, I'm in heaven. I would have felt a lot less guilty for all that time, tea and chocolate if I'd known I was actually in training for my future career." Warren's books include a series of "Bad Boy" titles, such as Bad Boys to Go, Bad Boys on Board, Bad Boys with Expensive Toys, and British Bad Boys. The last of these offers readers three short tales in one volume, each revolving around a modern-day Romeo living in England. In a review for Booklist, contributor Maria Hatton opined that "Warren has a knack for writing bright, breezy tales." Kathy Boswell, writing for Sensual Romance Reviews online, enthused: "I have been a big fan of Nancy Warren's since her very first book and she simply cannot write fast enough for me."
