Buchsbaum, Hans von (c.1390–c.1456). German architect who worked in the Danube area, first at Ulm (1418), then at Steyr (1440s), where he built the Pfarrkirche (Parish Church). He probably worked at the Stephansdom (Cathedral of St Stephen), Vienna, in the 1430s before being appointed Master of the Works there in 1446. He seems to have supervised the construction of the nave vaults.
