Heinzelmann, Konrad

Heinzelmann, Konrad (c.1390–1454). Important German late-Gothic architect, he worked at Ulm Minster in the 1420s before devoting his energies to the building of the great hall-church of St Georg, Nördlingen, Bavaria, from 1427 to 1438. He was in Rothen-burg-ob-der-Tauber, overseeing works at the Church of St Jakob, in 1438, and from 1439 until his death was building the choir of St Lorenz, Nuremberg (completed by Roriczer).
