State-supported, 2-year, coed. Part of Florida Community College System. Awards transfer associate and terminal associate degrees. Founded 1960. Setting: urban campus with easy access to Miami. Total enrollment: 33,141. 7,321 applied, 100% were admitted. Full-time: 10,029 students, 58% women, 42% men. Part-time: 23,112 students, 64% women, 36% men. Students come from 100 other countries, 0.2% Native American, 22% Hispanic, 28% black, 3% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 9% international, 29% 25 or older. Core. Calendar: trimesters.
