Clinical Laboratory Management Association High School Senior Scholarships (High School/Scholarship)

Purpose: To financially assist talented people pursuing education in the field of laboratory medicine. Focus: Medicine. Qualif.: Applicants must be undergraduate students who are Maine residents and who wish to become Medical Technologists (Clinical Laboratory Scientists), Medical Laboratory Technicians, Histotechnologists, or Cytologists. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance, character, commitment to laboratory medicine and financial need.

Funds Avail.: $500. To Apply: Applicants must submit completed application form; printed essay; transcript of high school grades; two letters of recommendation (at least one must come from an academic source, e.g. teacher, guidance counselor, or principal). Clinical Laboratory Management Association Undergraduate Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To financially assist talented people pursuing education in the field of laboratory medicine. Focus: Medicine. Qualif.: Applicant must be a clinical laboratory scientist working towards an advanced degree or a student who is a Maine resident and wishes to become a Medical Technologist, a Medical Laboratory Technician, a Histotech-nologist or a Cytologist. Criteria: Recipient will be selected based on academic performance, character, commitment to laboratory medicine and financial need.

Funds Avail.: $1,000. Number Awarded: 3. To Apply: Applicants must submit completed application form; printed essay, completed as described on the application; transcript of college grades; and two letters of recommendation from teachers or employers. Deadline: May 3.
