Columbus Citizens Foundation College Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide financial assistance to underwrite the cost of Italian descent students' college tuition. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be students who are of Italian descent and who are from households where the total gross income does not exceed $30,000 per capita; must have a minimum grade average of 85% or a 3.0 GPA; and must be residents of one of the following states: NY, NJ, DE, DC, MD, PA, VT, RI, ME, MA, NH, or CT. Criteria: Applicants are evaluated based on existence of Italian-American ancestry; financial need; academic excellence; and service to school and community.
Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Application is available for download in .pfd format and must be sent to the Private School Aid Service. Deadline: February 1.
Columbus Citizens Foundation High School Scholarships (High School/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide educational assistance for students of Italian descent. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be students of Italian descent and must come from households where the total gross income does not exceed $25,000 per capita. Applicants must maintain a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate that they have performed community service activities. Criteria: Applicants are evaluated based on existence of Italian-American ancestry; academic achievement and school/community service; financial need.
Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Application is available for download in .pdf format and must be sent to the Private School Aid Service Deadline: March 14.
