Edmonton Epilepsy Continuing Education Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To open doors for incoming or continuing Canadian college students who are under epilepsy care. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be Greater-Edmonton area students aged 17-29 years of age who are Canadian Citizens or who have Landed Immigrant status and who are currently under a Canadian physician's care for epilepsy. Visa students are not eligible for this award. Criteria: Recipients will be selected based on the committee's review of all applications and supporting documents.

Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form available from the website; a short essay (600-1,200 words) on “How Can I Personally Help Increase Epilepsy Education in my Community?”; three letters of recommendation of which one must come from someone from academia; copy of immigration papers (if landed immigrant); an unofficial copy of the current academic transcript; and a copy of university, college, or graduate school application(s)/acceptance letter, or confirmation of enrollment.
