Howard T. Markey Memorial Scholarships(Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide financial support for qualified individuals intending to pursue their studies. Focus: Law. Qualif.:
Applicants must be law students showing financial need, demonstrated academic promise, and service, either in undergraduate or in law school. Criteria: Awards will be given based on a written submission of no more than one page setting out the applicant's financial need, any interests in particular areas of the law, and any qualifications for the awards considered relevant by the applicant. Application materials will be considered, and prior academic performance will not be the primary criteria for selection.
Funds Avail.: $10,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit a college and law school transcript and a one-page curriculum vitae. Deadline: April 30.
