John S.W. Fargher Scholarships (Graduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To recognize industrial engineering students for academic excellence and campus leadership. Focus: Engineering, Industrial. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduate students enrolled in any school in the United States and its territories, provided that the school’s engineering program or equivalent is accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by IIE and the student is pursuing a course of study in industrial engineering or engineering management. Candidates must be nominated by a faculty advisor or department head; must be active in a student IIE chapter; must have demonstrated leadership and promoted IIE involvement on campus; and have a minimum grade point average of 3.00 on a scale of 0-4.00. Criteria: Candidates will be selected based on GPA, IIE student chapter involvement and nomination letter.

Dwight D. Gardner Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To recognize undergraduate industrial engineering students for academic excellence and campus leadership. Focus: Engineering, Industrial. Qualif.: Candidates must be undergraduate students enrolled in any school in the United States and its territories, Canada and Mexico, provided that the school’s engineering program or equivalent is accredited by an agency or organization recognized by IIE and the student is pursuing a course of study in industrial engineering. Candidates must be active Institute members and have an overall average of 3.40 on a scale of 0-4.00. Criteria: Scholarship recipient will be selected based on scholastic ability, character, leadership, potential service to the industrial engineering profession and need for financial assistance. Preference will be given to applicants who have demonstrated an interest in management consulting.

Gilbreth Memorial Fellowships (Graduate/Scholarship)

States and its territories, Canada and Mexico, pursuing and advanced degree in industrial engineering or equivalent. Candidates must be active Institute members and have an overall average of 3.40 on a scale of 0-4.00. Criteria: Scholarship recipient will be selected based on scholastic ability, character, leadership, potential service to the industrial engineering profession and need for financial assistance. Preference will be given to applicants who have demonstrated an interest in management consulting.

John L. Imhoff Scholarships (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To recognize industrial engineering students for academic excellence and campus leadership. Focus: Engineering, Industrial. Qualif.: Candidates must be pursuing a BS in an accredited IE program, or have a BS in IE and pursuing a master’s or doctorate degree in an accredited IE program. Criteria: Candidates will be selected based on GPA, IIE student chapter involvement and nomination letter.

To Apply: Candidates must submit a completed application form; a written essay describing candidate’s international contributions to, or experience in, industrial engineering; and three references reinforcing applicant’s contributions to the industrial engineering profession through international understanding. Harold and Inge Marcus Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To recognize graduate students for academic excellence and campus leadership. Focus: Transportation. Qualif.: Candidates must be graduate students pursuing advanced studies in the area of transportation. Criteria: Preference will be given to students pursuing advanced studies on rail transportation.

United Parcel Service Scholarship for Female Students (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To recognize undergraduate industrial engineering students for academic excellence and campus leadership. Focus: Engineering, Industrial. Qualif.: Candidates must be undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in any school, and pursuing a course of study in industrial engineering. Candidates must be active in a student chapter, must have demonstrated leadership and promoted IIE involvement on campus.
