Institute of Turkish Studies Dissertation Writing Grants (Doctorate/Grant)
Purpose: To promote training, research, and teaching in the field of Ottoman and modern Turkish Studies. Focus: Turkish studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident; enrolled in a PhD degree; and expecting to finish all requirements except dissertation. Criteria: Recipients are selected by on the expert panels.
Funds Avail.: $5000-$10,000. To Apply: Applicant must send two-page grant application cover sheet (available at the website); project proposal (maximum of 6 pages, double-space); budget; three letters of recommendation; curriculum vitae; and an academic transcript send by university registrar.
