National Pathfinder Scholarships (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support students with their education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior, or student enrolled in a master’s degree program. Criteria: Applications must be received by applicant’s State Federation President and will choose an application and submit to NFRW.

Funds Avail.: $2500. Number Awarded: 3. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form together with three letters of recommendation (include contact numbers of the authors); an official copy of recent college transcript; a 1-page typed essay stating why applicant deserves the scholarship; another 1-page typed essay on career goals; a photograph (optional); and State Federation President Certification. Deadline: June 15.

Remarks: Established in 1985 in honor of First Lady Nancy Reagan.

Betty Rendel Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support students with their education. Focus: Political science; Government; Economics. Qualif.: Applicant must be an undergraduate student majoring in political science, government or economics; and have completed at least two years of college coursework. Criteria: Applications must be received by applicant’s State Federation

President and will choose an application and submit to NFRW.

Funds Avail.: $1000. Number Awarded: 3. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form together with three letters of recommendation (include contact numbers of the authors); an official copy of recent college transcript; a 1-page typed essay stating why deserve the scholarship; another 1-page typed essay on career goals; a photograph (optional); and State Federation President Certification. Deadline: June 1.

Remarks: Established in 1995 in honor of NFRW Past President Betty Rendel’s extraordinary leadership skills and dedication to the Republican Party in her home state of Indiana.
