Falcon Achievement Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide financial support for deserving Falcon members aspiring to attend institutions of higher learning.
Focus: Polish studies. Qualif.: Candidates must be graduating high school seniors or presently enrolled undergraduates intending to pursue further education as a full time student in an accredited two or four year college, university or trade school; must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 out of 4.0. Criteria: Selection of applicant will be based on the academic achievements and leadership qualities.
Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Applicant must complete and sign the application form available online; must provide a community service information, essay, and photo; must submit the official transcript, counselor recommendation, and net information form and letter. Deadline: February 1.
General Falcon Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide financial support for deserving Falcon members who are aspiring to attend institutions of higher learning. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Candidates must be graduating high school seniors or presently enrolled undergraduates intending to pursue further education as a full time student in an accredited two or four year college, university or trade school; must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 out of 4.0; must have taken an active participants in the Polish Falcon programs. Criteria: Selection of applicant will be based on the criteria of the selection committee.
Funds Avail.: $500. To Apply: Applicant must complete and sign the application form available online; must provide a community service information, essay, and photo; must submit the official transcript, counselor recommendation, and net information form and letter. Deadline: February 1.
Richard C. Gorecki Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)
Purpose: To provide financial assistance for deserving individuals intending to pursue their education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a PFA member for six years; must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0; Applicant must be enrolled full-time in a four-year college or university, or full-time post-graduate studies. Criteria: Selection of applicant will be based on the academic achievements and leadership qualities. Decisions of the selection board are subject to the approval of the National Board of Directors.
Funds Avail.: $15,000. To Apply: Applicant must complete the scholarship application; must have a two part essay (minimum 500 words for each part); must provide at least three letters of recommendation. Deadline: May 27.
