District-supported, comprehensive, coed. Awards associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees. Founded 1976. Setting: 28-acre urban campus. Endowment: $15.4 million. Costs Per Year:

Application fee: $20. District resident tuition: $1800 full-time, $75 per credit part-time. Nonresident tuition: $4440 full-time, $185 per credit part-time. Mandatory fees: $270 full-time, $135 per term part-time. Part-time tuition and fees vary according to course load.

Collegiate Environment:

Drama-theater group, choral group, marching band, student-run newspaper. Social organizations: 61 open to all; national fraternities, national sororities; 2% of eligible men and 3% of eligible women are members. Most popular organizations: Caribbean Student Association, Theater Arts Ensemble, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
