Medical Staff Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To meet the healthcare needs of the district residents through medical services, education and research. Focus: Health sciences. Qualif.: Applicants must be students residing within the Washington Township Health Care District who are pursuing careers in the health sciences field. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance and demonstrated interest in a health-related field.

Service League Volunteer Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To meet the healthcare needs of district residents through medical services, education and research. Focus: Health care services. Qualif.: Applicants must be graduating high school seniors or college students who are pursuing studies in a health-related field; must have 2.50 GPA or higher; must be U.S. citizens and residents of Washington Hospital District; must have been accepted by an accredited school, college or university offering a bachelor or higher degree program in a health-related field; must be full-time students and must have comleted 100 hours of volunteer service or employment in a health-related field. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance.

To Apply: Applicants must submit: completed application form; current letters of recommendation from a Director of Volunteer Services, employer, counselor, advisor or teacher; high school or college transcript and proof of citizenship.
