Zionist Churches
Zionist Churches. A general term loosely used for the less orthodox, more Pentecostal and more African new religious movements in southern Africa, embracing several million Bantu and distinguished from the Ethiopian churches. Both the size of membership and the degree of Christian content vary considerably, but the more Christian movements resemble the Aladura in W. Africa.
