American actress and vaudevillian. Born in Oak Park, Illinois; grew up in Omaha, Nebraska; died Dec 3, 1997, age 97, in Los Angeles, California; m. Henri Margo (nee Henry Sanderson, vaudevillian), 1941.
Created the part of Gretchen in The Student Prince (1924); other musicals include Spice of 1922, Caroline, The Nightingale, Ruddigore, The Love Call, The Red Robe and Sweet Adeline; also toured in vaudeville and played the Palace.
