French-English murderer. Name variations: Louisa Masset. Born 1863; hanged at Newgate prison, Jan 9, 1900.

Tried at Old Bailey for killing her illegitimate 3-year-old son Manfred (1899); found guilty and condemned to death, reportedly confessed while in her cell; the 1st person to be executed in Britain in 20th century (Jan 9, 1900), was buried in unmarked grave.
