Published collected stories (1905) and 2 vols. of collected works (1910), which often dealt with village life and focused on rural poor; also wrote Notes of a Nurse (1916), about experiences as volunteer nurse during WWI, as well as In A Prisoner-of-War Camp: From the Worlds of P.Z. Bakhmetov, Formerly Imprisoned.
