Japanese-American playwright. Born Wakako Nakamura, Oct 24, 1924, in Westmoreland, CA.

Wrote And the Soul Shall Dance (1974), Shirley Temple Hotcha-Cha. (1978), The Music Lesson (1980), Songs That Made the Hit Parade (1985), The Memento (1986), The Trip (1988), Not a Through Street (1990), and The Chairman's Wife (A Gang of One) (1990).
