Michael Koizumi APWA Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To promote education in the field of public works, public administration or related field. Focus: Public administration. Qualif.: Applicant must be a Nevada resident; must plan to enroll in a course of study leading to a career in the field of public works, public administration or a related private enterprise (e.g. business, architecture, science, engineering, etc.); and must be an entering their freshman year or currently enrolled in college. Criteria: Awards are given based on nominations by APWA members; financial need-income, family size; desire; achievements; grades. Preference is for students attending a Nevada school.

Funds Avail.: $1000 and $2000. Number Awarded: 4. Lari Ann Vest Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To support minority students studying engineering. Focus: Engineering. Qualif.: Applicant must be a minority student majoring in engineering. Criteria: Award is given based on merit.
