Bound to Stay Bound Books (BTSB) Scholarships (Graduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial assistance for individuals pursuing a master's or advanced degree in children's librarianship. Focus: Library and archival sciences. Qualif.: Applicants must be U.S. or Canadian citizens pursuing a master or advanced degree in children's librarianship. Criteria: Applicants will be selected on the basis of academic excellence, leadership qualities and the desire to work with children in any type of library.

Funds Avail.: $6,500. Number Awarded: 4. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form; a personal statement describing career interests and goals; a commitment to library service to children; and three references (must be completed online). Deadline: March 1.

Remarks: The scholarship is sponsored by the Bound to Stay Bound Books, Inc.
