Community Environment: The area around Munas has a hospital and several churches. Recreation is available at nearby Kentucky Lake, the largest lake created by the Tennessee Valley Authority, Lake Barkley, and Land Between Lakes, a recreation area of 177,000 acres. Part-time employment is available.
