GLP Program Scholarships (Other/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide a high-level education experience to individuals in the process of growth and development within their companies. Focus: Travel and Tourism. Qualif.: Applicant must be an active member of NBTA and must retain NBTA membership throughout the scholarship period. Criteria: The recipient will be selected based on educational background, stature and responsibilities of the individual within his/her company; industry involvement; awards and honors; leadership and participation in NBTA activities; statement of career objectives; and outside appraisals.

Independent Studies Program Scholarships (Other/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide educational opportunities for business travel professionals. Focus: Travel and tourism. Qualif.: Applicant must: be an NBTA member and retain NBTA membership throughout the grant period; be endorsed by his or her company that will allow him or her necessary time and funding to attend the courses or programs; comply with all schedules and requirements pertaining to the scholarship application process. Criteria: The recipient will be selected by the NBTA Foundation Scholarship Committee based on standard recipient selection procedures.

Funds Avail.: $5,000. Number Awarded: 3. Deadline: May 30.

Mike Kabo Global Scholarships (Other/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide individuals with the opportunity to attend the two day Global Leadership Program (GLP) session and NBTA’s International Convention and Exposition. Focus: Travel and tourism. Qualif.: Applicant must be: a corporate travel professional from the buyer community; a resident outside of the United States of America; a member of NBTA or one of its Paragon Partner Members. Criteria: Recipients will be selected by the NBTA Foundation and the National Business Travel Association based on standard recipient review and selection procedures.
