National Society of Accountants Scholarship Program (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To assist college students pursuing an accounting major. Focus: Accounting. Qualif.: Applicant must be a full-time or part-time student majoring in accounting at any U.S. accredited institution; have a “B” (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) or better GPA; be a U.S. or Canadian citizen. Criteria: Recipients are selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals and aspirations, unusual personal or family circumstances and an outside appraisal. Financial need is also considered.

Funds Avail.: $500, $1,000 or $2,000. Number Awarded: 32. To Apply: Applicants must complete the application form (visit the website) and mail it with a transcript of records. Deadline: March 10.

The Stanley H. Stearman Awards (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Qualif.: Applicants must be a dependent or spouse, niece, nephew, son- or daughter-in-law of an active/retired, living or deceased NSA member. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on the submitted application.
