Born August 15, 1933, in St. Paul, MN; married Nancy Fleming. Education: University of Minnesota, graduated (cum laude), 1954. Avocational Interests: Golf.

Career: Game show host and television personality. Worked for a local radio station in Minneapolis-St. Paul area, MN; KGO-Radio, San Francisco, CA, worked as all-night program host, beginning 1958; KSFO-Radio, San Francisco, afternoon program host, 1960s and 1970s; KMPC-Radio, Los Angeles, broadcaster, 1970, then c. 1983–88; KFRC-Radio, San Francisco, host of morning show, beginning c. 1990; KKSJ-Radio, San Jose, CA, affiliate, 1994; KABL-Radio, San Francisco, worked as morning music announcer, beginning 1997, then affiliate of Adult Standards KABL; host of the syndicated radio series Encore. Also golf commentator for tours and tournaments; host of charity events. Military service: U.S. Marine Corps, served for three years.

Member: National Association for the Visually Handicapped (honorary national chair).
