Muldowney, Dominic (John)

Muldowney, Dominic (John), English com poser; b. Southampton, July 19, 1952. He received his training from Harvey at the Univ. of Southampton, Birtwistle in London, and Rands and Blake at the Univ. of York (1971–74). In 1976 he became music director of the National Theatre in London. He composes within tonal parameters with a penchant for adventuresome harmonic explorations.
