Fraser, Mary Isabel (1863–1942)
New Zealand teacher, school principal, and education reformer. Born Mar 20, 1863, in Dunedin, New Zealand; died April 18, 1942, in Dunedin; dau. of Hugh Fraser (saddler) and Mary Austin (Graham) Fraser; University of Otago, BA, 1887; MA, 1889.
Taught at several girls' high schools before becoming principal of progressive Wanganui Girls' College (1894–1910).
