After husband's death, edited his works and published her own, including Margaretha, comtesse Rainsford (1797), Agatha ou la religieuse anglaise (1797), Fedaretta (1803), and Leçons sur la nature (1806); edited Lettres de Mlle de Lespinasse au comte de Guibert, 1773–1776 (1809); her correspondence was published as Lettres inèdites (1887).
