Applied Hospitality Degree Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students enrolled in the first or second year of a community college. Focus: Hotel, institutional, and restaurant management; Travel and tourism. Qualif.: Applicants must be college students currently enrolled in the first or second year of a community college. Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Criteria: Selection will be based on work experience, scholastic record, leadership and ability to get along with others, professional promise, essay and discretionary points.

Funds Avail.: $2,500. To Apply: Applicants must complete the application form on-line. In addition, students must submit hard copies of the following documents (please note that missing or incomplete documents may be grounds for elimination): Most current official transcripts of your complete academic history at the college you are enrolled in at this time; one or more letters of recommendation from an instructor and/or administrator form your college; One letters of recommendation from past or present employers; Resume; An essay on one of the topics listed on application form (600 words). Canadian Hospitality Foundation College Entrance Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the High School students in their final year of school. Focus: Culinary arts; Hotel, institutional, and restaurant management; Travel and tourism. Qualif.: Applicants must be high school students in their final year of school and who are enrolling in a minimum two-year college program in one of the following areas of training or study: Accommodation; Chef; Cook; Culinary; Events; Food and Beverages; Golf Club; Hospitality; Hotel; Resort; Restaurant; Tourism; Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Criteria: Selection will be based on work experience, scholastic record, leadership and ability to get along with others, professional promise and discretionary points.

Purpose: To provide scholarships to High School students in their final year of school. Focus: Hotel, institutional, and restaurant management; Travel and tourism. Culinary (1-Year Program) Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide scholarship to the students enrolled in a one-year culinary program. Focus: Culinary arts. Qualif.: Applicants must: be college students currently enrolled in a one-year (minimum ten months) culinary certificate program; not have received any other Canadian Hospitality Foundation scholarships; be Canadian citizens or permanent residents. Criteria: Selection will be based on work

experience, scholastic record, leadership and ability to get along with others, professional promise and discretionary points. Application selected by the judges are ranked and the scholarships awarded in order of their dollar value.
