Copnick/Hilliard Scholarships (Professional Development/Scholarship)
Purpose: To assist and support students with permanent severe mobility impairment such as spinal cord injury to continue their post-secondary education. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must have a spinal cord injury or other physical disability; must be volunteers or staff members of the Canadian Paraplegic Association; must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants; must demonstrate outstanding initiative and scholastic achievement in a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada. Criteria: Recipients will be selected based on academic standing, merit and financial needs.

Purpose: To assist peer volunteers and participants with an SCI or other physical disability to advance their post-secondary education in the disability fields. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must have been diagnosed with a spinal cord injury or other physical disability; must be volunteers or staff members of the Canadian Paraplegic Association; must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants; must be attending, or will be attending, a recognized post-secondary institution in Canada. Criteria: Recipients will be selected based on academic standing, merit and financial needs.
