There are 6-8 $1500 awards available to juniors and seniors that are California residents attending California universities. Must be in a water-related field of study. Students applying can be transferring to a university from a junior college as long as they will be a junior in the fall. HANDS-ON! PROJECTS/HYDRO POWER CONTEST

Scholarship awards are presented to winners in two categories of an engineering competition. Winners must design, build, and submit for testing a device that converts the potential energy contained in water into mechanical power.
